Marsden Therapy Client Terms and Service Policies
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between
you and Brix Ability Pty Ltd (ABN 99 654 183 383), trading as Marsden
Therapy. By booking, attending, or receiving services, you acknowledge that
you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms for yourself or a minor
under your care.
1. Privacy, Confidentiality, and Data Usage
- Secure
Storage: Personal and health information is gathered and stored
securely within encrypted clinical software systems.
- Information
Exchange: Data is shared only with authorized parties involved in your
care, such as the NDIA, Plan Managers, medical professionals, and schools.
- Research
and Community Benefit: Information collected may be used for research
and clinical development purposes. We reserve the right to share
de-identified information with third parties to contribute to broader
community health outcomes and clinical advancements.
- Virtual
Receptionist & AI Training: Your data may be used to train our
AI-powered virtual receptionist and automated support systems. These tools
are designed to dynamically retrieve your details to provide the most
accurate, efficient, and personalized outcomes for your requests.
- Software
Automation: Our practice management software may share de-identified
information with Artificial Intelligence (AI) for training purposes.
Marsden Therapy does not have direct control over these external
third-party processes.
- Clinical
AI Usage: Our clinical team may utilize AI tools to assist in
generating reports, summarizing session notes, or creating resources to
improve service efficiency.
- Recording:
Appointments may be recorded for quality assurance, clinical
documentation, and child protection; consent to recording is a condition
of this agreement.
2. Supports, Pricing, and Billing Structure
Marsden Therapy operates in accordance with the NDIS
Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits.
Consultation and Session Fees
- Initial
Consultation: The initial consult is charged as 1.5 hours of
clinical time at the rate of $193.99 per hour, totalling $290.99.
- Standard
Therapy Session: Every standard session is billed as 70 minutes
of total support time to cover the complete clinical cycle.
- Standard
Fee: The total cost for this 70-minute block is $226.32.
- Billable
Breakdown: This fee includes 45–50 minutes of face-to-face therapy, 10
minutes of clinical documentation, 10 minutes of session preparation, and
5 minutes for parent/carer briefings.
Documentation and Increases
- Reports:
We require a minimum of three weeks’ notice in writing to prepare
NDIS progress reports or other formal documentation.
- Price
Changes: Support fees are increased in accordance with updates to the
NDIS Pricing Arrangements; participants will receive prior notice of
increases.
3. NDIS Funding and Personal Liability
- Monitoring:
Marsden Therapy does not monitor participant NDIS funding balances. You
are responsible for ensuring sufficient funds are available for all
services.
- Financial
Responsibility: If NDIS funding is exhausted, declined, or
unavailable, the participant or legal guardian remains personally
responsible for the full cost of the service.
- Debt
Recovery: We reserve the right to engage third-party collection
agencies for unpaid fees; you agree to be responsible for any additional
costs incurred during debt recovery.
4. Cancellation and Attendance Policy
- Therapy
Sessions: A minimum of two full business days’ notice is
required to cancel or reschedule. Failure to provide this notice results
in a 100% session fee charge.
- Assessments:
Require seven days’ notice for cancellation; otherwise, the deposit
is forfeited, and the full fee is due.
- Lateness:
Clients arriving more than 15 minutes late will not be admitted but
remain liable for the full fee.
- Extended
Absence: Cancellations for more than two consecutive weeks do not
guarantee that your regular time slot will be available upon your return.
5. Emergencies, Evacuations, and Health
- Emergency
Evacuations: In the event of an emergency requiring evacuation (e.g.,
fire alerts or other safety threats) during your session, the full
session fee remains payable. Depending on therapist availability, we
may offer a replacement session within the same week, though this is not
guaranteed.
- Ambulance
Rights: Marsden Therapy reserves the right to call an ambulance for
any participant, client, carer, or staff member in a medical emergency.
- Medical
Costs: All associated costs for ambulance transport or emergency
treatment are the sole responsibility of the individual or their legal
guardian.
6. Supervision and Late Pick-Up
- Parental
Responsibility: Marsden Therapy is not a childcare or daycare
provider. Children remain the sole responsibility of parents or carers at
all times while on the premises.
- Guardian
Absence: If a guardian is not present during an emergency, our team
will act in the child’s best interest but will not be held accountable for
any shortcomings in care during your absence.
- Late
Pick-Up Fee: If you are late to collect your child, we reserve the
right to charge for supervision at the same hourly rate as the therapy
session.
7. Clinical Standards and Conduct
- Professional
Judgment: Services are provided based on professional clinical
judgment and evidence-based practice.
- No
Guarantee of Outcomes: Therapy outcomes vary between individuals and
cannot be guaranteed.
- Therapist
Substitution: We may allocate a replacement therapist due to leave or
illness to ensure continuity of care.
- Zero
Tolerance: Abusive or threatening behaviour toward staff is not
tolerated and will result in the immediate termination of services.
8. Discharge Policy
- Notice
Period: A two-week written notice period is required if you
wish to be discharged from our services.
- Clinical
Discharge: Your therapist will provide a two-week written notice and a
discharge plan if they believe you are ready to conclude therapy.
- Immediate
Termination: Any breach of client responsibilities immediately waives
the notice period, and services may be ceased effective immediately.
